The C25K program is a gentle introduction to getting the body moving, starting off alternating between walking and running small distances and slowly building up to run 5 kilometers or 30 minutes non-stop.
Starting up running can seem quite a bit scary, especially if you are feeling very unfit or haven’t done anything for ages.
The C25K can help you to gradually work up towards your goal.
Running requires little equipment, but a good pair of running shoes that suit your foot type may help improve comfort.
Each session will last between 35 to 45 minutes. If you miss one, try to fit in a session (following our plan) at a time and day that is convenient for you.
Regular running is an easy way to improve your physical health. It can also help to boost your confidence and self-belief, as well as reduce stress symptoms and has even been shown to combat depression.
If you are ready to join, please book your free spot on our website and bring the filled out and signed “Acknowledgment and Waiver” form with you on your first day.
Times: Thursdays 10:30 am + 15 min core exercises

Have rest days between runs – it reduces your chance of injury and also makes you a stronger, better runner.
Repeat any one of the weeks until you feel physically ready to move on to the next week.
You will have good runs and bad runs – accept it! Even a bad run is a good one for you.
